You are enough.

Ever since I was little I straightened my wavy hair, covered my freckles, dressed the latest fashion trend and portrayed myself as somebody I longed to be. It’s true in the fact that we all have things we wish would be different in ourselves and there will always be that person who appears to be the ‘perfect’ person. That is life.

But, it’s not ok to hate yourself or for you to start obsessing about what you want to change about your apperance or how you want to be. Obsessing over the other woman, about her lifestyle, her career and her body is healthy right? No, it isn’t. You are you for a reason. Love your small boobs, because somebody out there right now is wishing they had them. Eat healthy, because you want to – not because you feel you have to. Choose a career that you will enjoy – not because it’s the next big thing. Start weight lifting because you want to get stronger – not because social media is popularising the ‘strong is the new skinny’ tagline. Don’t feel like you have to be somebody who you are not.

Happiness and self love comes from within and your mindset. You need to understand who you are, what you’re great at, what you love about yourself and that you will never be anybody else but you. You will never be that women in the magazine or on the tv and she will never be you. There will never be another you, another personality of you, another body of you, another mind of you. That right there is amazing. Be happy, do what you do best and believe that you are enough in the world.
