REVIEW: WELLTHOS Fitness Subscription Box

Subscription boxes – I always have mixed reviews on them. They’re either good or they’re terrible. I can never find an in between! With that, i’m always reluctant to trying new ones. Will I like it? Will the products be any good? Will I even want to use the products? I know, I know, first world problems!

When I was first contacted by WELLTHOS to try out their brand new fitness subscription box I couldn’t help but be hesitant. I hate working with companies only to let them down with a negative review simply because the product just wasn’t for me. But after rummaging through their Instagram feed and eyeing up a few ‘sneak peak’ images of the kind of products that would be in the box I was sold. Pip & Nut? Count me in!

WELLTHOS is a healthy subscription box that inspires your healthy choices through curating a tailored combination of health foods/supplements and exercise equipment from brands big and small. All conveniently delivered to your UK front door.

I got my box a week or so ago and first impressions? ‘I love the design of this box!’ Ok, ok, that’s the inner graphic designer coming out in me – but good design is always a great start, right?

Once I opened the box I was happily surprised with the products waiting for me inside. Out of the 10 items inside the box there wasn’t a single thing that I disliked, nor would I not use. I loved absolutely everything. There were items I have used before, such as Doisy & Dams Chocolate and Pip & Nut Peanut Butter and there were also items that I’ve never tried before.

I’ll admit, I dug straight into the chickpea crisps on opening the box itself and forever since I’ve been obsessed with them. They are just like spicy wotsits (I kid you not). So you bet I headed straight to the store that weekend to buy some more!

The second item I opened was the Doisy and Dam’s chocolate bar. I’ve tried the chocolate brand before, however I was yet to try the maple and toasted pink himalayan salt bar and let me tell you – it was incredible. The combination of all the subtle flavours in the bar worked really well together and it leaves you with an delicious after taste.  Damn, I need more!

Inside the box

Pip & Nut Peanut Butter

One of my favourite nut butter brands – I was very happy about this one!

POW Energy Water

I’m interested to try this one although, I don’t think i’d go out of my way to purchase this alone as i’m not really a fan of anything other than my bog standard water!

Kiki Health Nature’s Living Superfood

I love superfoods! I love the nutrients they provide for your body and I love how most of them can be used in whatever you fancy. This one is a 100% raw green supplement that includes sea veg, micro-algae’s, enzymes and bacteria cultures. Talk about the pure good stuff!

Doisy & Dam

We already know how I feel about this one!

Zaramama Pop-a-cob Midnight Blue

I love popcorn. Always have, always will. And this product? It’s amazing! It’s high in fibre, low fat, contains zero salt and has 13g worth of protein per 100g. Yummy.

Team Soda Fitness Speed Rope

A very handy product indeed. It’s your bog standard skipping rope but it will definitely be used by me!

Hippeas Organic Chickepea Puffs

Again, we already know how I feel about these little ball of puffs.

The Protein Ball Co.

I tried these protein balls a few months back now but oh my goodness, they were heaven. The cherry and almond flavour tastes exactly like a bakewell tart with no difference – I swear! Get your mitts on these balls now. Quick!

The Organic Protein Company Orangic Whey Protein

Although my stomach can’t stand whey protein alone I do love to include these sachets into my baked goods. I’ve used this product before and I’ve never had any complaints. A good quality, and nice tasting protein powder.

T+ Drinks Smarter Tea

I dug straight into the apple tea upon opening the box and it’s just lovely. Again, this is another product i’ve used before and will continue to use in the future. Who can ever get sick of tea?

Another feature I liked from the WELLTHOS box were the cleverly designed letter’s. They inform you exactly what is in your box and how you can use them. For instance, I loved the recipe letter for the Pip & Nut peanut butter, ‘Peanut butter, protein, banana pancakes.’ Oh, yes please!

A WELLTHOS box itself is created using your online profile and is tailored to you. WELLTHOS don’t just put anything in there (as you can see – they pick the good stuff) they ensure that all recommendations are actual healthy ones that have been checked by their own resident nutritionist. Which I think is amazing because so many other subscription boxes are more concerned about the money you’ve paid than what you’re actually receiving.

But to the most important bit: Would I reorder another Wellthos box? 100% yes! If it means receiving goodies like this every month then you can definitely count me in. It’s almost like a little gift from yourself, to yourself. Whilst you may not know what’s inside I can guarantee that you’ll like more than you dislike and coming from somebody who was so skeptical about subscription boxes beforehand… I’d take that.

This looks like a fab subscription box. I have tried most products in here though and because I love them I think I would be better off buying them in bulk! The one thing I need to get my hands on is The Protein Balls! x
