Christmas Gift Guide 2018: What To Buy A Fitness Lover

by hannahandfitness

It’s that time of year when I ask my Dad what he wants for Christmas and every damn time it’s the same request. “Diesel aftershave, please”. If however, you’re stuck with “don’t know” or “surprise me” answers, then hopefully, this post will help a little with the pre-Christmas shopping stress.

In traditional style, I’ve put together a list of gifts that your fitness fanatic friend, family member or loved one, may possibly (and hopefully) be delighted to receive this Christmas. From ladies loungewear (trust me, when we’re not in gym clothes, loungewear is our next option) to men’s weightlifting belts, I’ve picked my favourites to suit absolutely anyone. So sit back, grab a mince pie (or two) and get reading. Here are my top suggestions on what to buy a fitness fanatic for Christmas this year…

For the stocking…

  • KIND bars – My favourite go-to snack bar!
  • My Little Sudocrem – Smaller than their classic tub, Sudocrem have designed a little tin which would be perfect for any fitness lover to keep in their gym bag.
  • Urban Gym Wear Mug (use code HANNAH10 to save 10%) – You can’t go wrong with a mug at Christmas, huh?
  • Barbells Milkshake – Perfect post-workout yumminess with 24g protein!
  • Stance Socks – A pair of socks all CrossFit lovers should have! Plus, who doesn’t love receiving a fancy pair of socks at Christmas?

For the kitchen…

  • Salter Smart Locking Knife Block – Any fitness foodie will love this 5 piece set. Included is a chef knife, bread knife, santoku knife, utility knife and paring knife, all with sharp stainless steel blades.

  • Salter Cutlery Set – Jazz their kitchen up with this gorgeous rose gold cutlery set!
  • Swan Mixer and Blender Products – If your loved one has asked for a blender, mixer or any other fancy kitchen gadget this year, then definitely give this brand, Swan a browse. I’ve been using their products since the start of the year and I don’t think I’d look elsewhere – Magimix or not!
  • Pip & Nut Christmas Hamper – Any nut butter lover will love you for this present. What’s included? A Pip & Nut recipe book and six different jars ranging from chocolate orange almond butter to crunchy maple peanut butter. Yum!

For the main presents…

  • Mens and Ladies Schiek Weightlifting Belt (use code HANNAH10 to save 10%) – My partner and I both use this brand when it comes to our weightlifting belts. Doug has a 6-inch belt and I have a 4-inch one. It’s high quality, velcro (meaning you can whip it off straight after), sturdy, easier than a buckle belt and 100% helps support our lifts – especially squats and deadlifts.

  • Bulldog Gear Jump Rope – I honestly wouldn’t use any other jump rope. It’s sturdy, strong and the handles are 100% grip proof.
  • Bulldog Gear Gymbag – My main gym bag that honestly, makes me feel like a bit of a bad bass – despite being half the size of me.

  • Reebok Legacy Lifters – A little pricey but I highly recommend these lifters. I invested in them halfway through my CrossFit journey and they’ve helped massively with my Olympic lifting!
  • Mens Better Bodies Camo Hoodie (use code HANNAH10) – Psttt, I wear this in a size small (I’m usually a size 8)! Yes, it’s a men’s hoodie, but with my strong love for camo, I simply couldn’t refuse!

  • Ladies Better Bodies Camo Leggings (use code HANNAH10) – If you know, then you know. If you don’t know, then I’m absolutely and utterly obsessed with these leggings. So much so I have them in green too!
  • Ladies Body Language Leggings – I wear these in a size 8 (my normal sizing) and I love them. They’re high waisted, squat proof and add a little dazzle to any gym session!

  • Om & Ah London Quote tops – Ethically sourced and affordable, these tops are gorgeous! With plenty of quotes and styles to choose from, you really can’t go wrong with a present from Om & Ah London this Christmas.
  • FITDELIS Vegan Protein Powder – My current daily protein powder that I would 100% recommend. I’m no vegan, but with a sensitive tummy, this is perfect for me to refuel with.

  • Anita Active Sports Bra – Dries quickly, lightweight and breathable. Supportive? Oh yes!
  • Anita Active Support Massage Leggings – Made from a specially textured power fabric featuring three-dimensional nubs which massage and tone as you wear them, the tights will be ideal for indoor and outdoor exercise and other activity such as flying when you want to increase circulation to the legs. Fancy, huh?
  • Bulldog Gear Mobility Water Bottle – A foam roller and water bottle in one. What more could you want?

Merry Christmas, everyone!
