So these past few weeks i’ve really been increasing the intensity of my workouts. Rewind a month or so ago and I hit a brick wall where I was no longer pushing myself with PB’s and what I was currently lifting. I felt like I couldn’t go heavier and started to tell myself that I ‘couldn’t’.
So one morning I decided to quit moaning and just do it. Life heavier, Hannah – damn it. And you know what? I did it. I hit a new PB and I finally got past the wall. Hoorah!
What did I do? Nothing huge, I simply lowered my usual reps and controlled my mind to muscle connection. It worked and boy, did it burn!
So I thought I would dedicate today’s post purely to a strength burning arm workout. I love training upper body right now and with summer on it’s way it’s the perfect time to tone up and build your upper body. Plus, it can really help achieve that ‘small waist’ illusion.
The point of this exercise is to really push yourself! Make sure you’re struggling on the last few reps and really squeeze the muscles through the mind to muscle connection. It works, trust me!
