Pink Soda Sport / VOGA – August 2016

by hannahandfitness

Just over a week ago I was luckily enough to be invited to Pink Soda Sport’s VOGA event. The event was personal invite only and was held on top of a rooftop in White Lion Street, London and ran for an hour. However, we had the chance to arrive early to meet other VOGA gals and take lots of snaps! Luckily the weather was amazing and it was a perfect start to my Sunday morning – Sun, music, fashion and VOGA… What more could a girl want?

Now for those wondering what exactly VOGA is… It’s a mix of yoga and dance moves (vogueing) which makes it quite a pretty energetic workout. I certainly worked up quite a sweat thanks to our instructor, Alyssia White (Instagram – @alyssiawhite) who had us groovin’, singing and vogueing for an hour in the beautiful sunny weather.

Pink Soda Sport who held the event also (very kindly) provided me with one of their outfits which I got to pick out myself – I went with the reversible snake print set. It’s a gorgeous set of black leather look leggings complimented with a snake print pattern, a reversible bra (black & pink) and a vest top which is now one of my favourite tops to wear whilst working out because it’s light and has a lovely detail to the back which still shows off the bra underneath. I was in looooovee! You can find the set on JD Sport’s website here.  In fact, I loved everybody’s outfit they had on that day (especially the one featured below). The quality was amazing, the outfits are nice and cool (not like those skin tight – can’t breath – hello sweat, kinda materials) but most importantly I loved the design and style to the point where I didn’t want to take it off to go to lunch!

After the workout we continued to take more snaps of the event and with other bloggers – a few of whom I had followed on Instagram for a while and finally had the chance to meet! As well as tucking into our free goodie bags which were packed with AMAZING gifts, from the likes of an iPhone case, Perfect Nails Vitamins and a fitness tracker – to name a few. I also made sure I tucked into the delicious smoothies at the end of the event that were provided by Rooted Kitchen. I snuck in my greens and had the green smoothie which was packed with green goodness from the likes of avocado and kale. It was sooooo creamy. In fact it was too good that I was convinced it couldn’t possibly be healthy!

I also gave a quick interview at the end of the event about myself and feedback on the event. Of course I loved the entire event – despite it not being my usual workout activity I fully enjoyed it – especially as I love trying new workouts. It’s also a great option for those looking to mix things up a little – the music definitely topped the event.

I believe you can find more about VOGA events here.  You can view events near you, more details about it and booking details. I would certainly recommend and i’m sure they don’t get many people who wouldn’t enjoy it.
