USA Pro Launch Event: Little Mix

by hannahandfitness

Last Tuesday morningĀ I had the amazing opportunity to attend the USA Pro launch event for the new collection created by girlband, Little Mix.

I’ve been a fan of USA Pro and their workout clothing for quite some time now and it came to no surprise at just how much I loved the girl’s new collection. It boasts a style of being urban and edgy whilstĀ featuring prints, materials and cuts which are personally handpicked by the girls that reflect their individual personality and style. The colour of the collection also boasts the style with a minimal colour palette of black, greys, white and a pop of red.

The event itself was held in the basement of the London Edition Hotel which was decked out in the style of an urban night club. I was welcomes by the music of Little Mix as well as spotlights, cool decor and the backdrop of USA Pro.

Once we were arrived we were given a bag that contained our chosen outfits for the event. I chose to wear the outfit that Leigh-Anne designed whilst pairing it with Jesy’s mesh hoodie. When discussing her range Leigh-Anne had this to say: “When designing my range, the main thing I wanted to emphasise was comfort, I wanted to make sure the styles and fabrics were comfortable for everyone to wear. I also wanted the range to show a bit of my personality too by adding hints of colours and prints.”

The outfit itselfĀ suited my personality down to a T. I loved the style, the colours, the pattern and the materials used. I have to admit, I fell totally in love with the cropped, meshed hoodie (amazzzzinngggg). The style of it was edgy, different and definitely to my taste. I’m kind of a black and white girl when it comes to gym clothes – if you hadn’t noticed already.

I have to confess, it was my opportunity to outlive my dream of being in a girlband (that what happens when you’re born in the 90’s!) We danced, we laughed – oh did we laugh, and of course we met the girls themselves.

The exclusive dance class

Once we were all changed we were ready to be put through an exclusive dance class with Little Mix’s choreographer, Beth Honan. I have to admit, I’m not much of a dancer despite doing it back in my senior school days but I gave it a go!Ā The dance class went on for roughly 40 minutes and I have to admit – I loved it. We danced, we laughed (oh did we laugh) and we got our sass on!

Once the dance class was over we finally met the girls and whilst we were at it we completed the mannequin challenge and took some photos with the girls. Not quite your average Tuesday afternoon, ay? After this we all sat down to some delicious smoothies from the ProteinHaus and a Q&A with the girls. Lots of questions were asked and it was really interesting learning about the girls lifestyle and chatting about their new collection, of course.

Overall, the whole experience was brilliant. I got to meet new people, get my sass on (well, I tried), meet the Little Mix girls, try on the new collection and come away with a memory that will last forever.
