Typically I have two snacks a day. My mid-morning snack will always be Peanut Butter and carrot sticks. If you’ve never tried that combination than I really do suggest it. However, when it comes to my afternoon snack I always struggle to find something healthy that isn’t completely boring!
So, ta-dah welcome my fruity oat bars that will leave you craving for more. Â Truly delicious and healthy for you with the right combination of carbs and healthy fats. These little beauties will for sure keep you full until dinner.
Let’s get straight to it.
Ingredients:
3 very ripe bananas
1 tsp raw honey
2 cup oats
1/2 cup blueberries
3/4 cup chopped apricots,dates & raisins (any dry fruit you wish)
1/3 cup seeds of your choice. I used pumpkin and almond.
1 tbsp coconut oil (for greasing your baking tray)
Method:
Mash your 3 bananas together and pop into your food processor. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend together for 1 minute. Place your mixed ingredients into a greased baking tray and bake for 30 minutes on gas mark 5. Easy-peasy, enjoy!
