“For me, making breakfast as interesting and fun as possible is as important as its nutritional content! So, when I decided to bake my favourite breakfast, Zoats (courgette grated in to oats), in doughnut form, I HAD to share it with you! And, here is the recipe!
Ingredients:
Ingredients
1/2 a grated courgette (around 100g),
100g of egg whites,
2 tablespoons of cacao powder,
50g of Sukrin Cake Mix ( can be subbed for flour of choice and a little baking powder),
20g of Chocolate whey protein (I used Whey Box),
30g of carob chips or chocolate chips of choice.
Method
1. Pre-heat an oven to 160C and grease a doughnut tray,
2. Simply combine all of the ingredients above and then fill each doughnut hole until level,
3. Pop the doughnuts in to the oven for 10-15 minutes or until nicely risen,
4. Leave to cool and then decorate; I’ve used Jim Jams hazelnut spread, peanut butter, protein crispies and Cacao nibs!
5. Enjoy!
Thank you, @_Hannaheats! xxx
